I went to the protest in LA that happen on 11.09.16. Like many in California, after the election I felt shocked, angry, alienated, in disbelief, powerless and a little afraid. And then being there among people screaming “Fuck Donald Trump,” it felt good. It felt more than good, maybe even therapeutic.

People keep asking why protest the outcome of the election. Personally I’m tired of how that is even a question. Why tie your shoe when it’s untied? Why do your bed? Why wear your seatbelt? Maybe those are the same people who asked, why vote at all this election? You protest for many reasons and non go unnoticed. Last night was about uniting with the ones who will stand against racism, bigotry, misogyny, xenophobia; Trumpism.

I prefer to be angry and be part of a useless protest than to be useless. This is about doing what you can do to let your voice be heard. With a phone on 10% battery and no camera this is what I have to show for that night. I suggest to take action for what you stand for.
